Annual EuroBrit Auto and Bike Expo

EuroBrit Expo 26 graphic

On May 30, 2026, we hosted our 23rd Annual EuroBrit Auto and Bike Expo at Dublin Park in Madison, AL. The two weeks before our event there was heavy rain in our area and there was much discussion about whether or not our Expo would get rained out. We ended up holding our event in our alternate rain location, in the parking area next to the soccer field where we usually set up, and it turned out well in spite of the weather. We even managed to stay mostly on schedule! We did get rained on, but it mostly just sprinkled and our use of the parking area meant that we didn't have to deal with any mud or stuck cars. The weather cleared after mid morning and we were even able to do our Rolling Show Awards. We had participants and spectators from across North Alabama and Southern Tennessee and our Intrepid Traveler Award went to a couple who drove their car three hours to come from Montgomery, AL. We had a lower turn-out of spectators and attendees than usual due to the weather concerns, but we still had a great show and a grand time. We were even able to present Door Prizes to more than half of our attendees. We look forward to having a great turnout again next year.

For more details on how our event turned out, keep reading below

2026 Expo T-Shirts are STILL AVAILABLE in limited sizes

We are pleased to declare that everyone who pre-registered or pre-ordered a T-shirt received a shirt in their selected size. We know some people struggled with our online registration this year and we hope to improve and streamline the process further for next year. Thanks to everyone who struggled through and committed to pre-registering in spite of the weather and uncertainties.

T-Shirts are STILL AVAILABLE in limited sizes and will be sold at our upcoming Potluck Picnic Cruise In. We have sold out of XXL shirts but we're still open to placing an additional order with our T-Shirt printer by the end of June if this is your size and you really want a shirt. LET US KNOW ASAP if this is the case.

If you weren't able to make it to the Expo and pre-paid for your registration and shirt, we do plan to bring your shirt and Goodie Bag to the Potluck Picnic for collection. If you can't make it to that event, we plan to reach out to you before the end of June to figure out how to get you your Goodie Bag and shirt. Keep an eye out for an email and check back if you don't hear from us.

It is still possible to order shirts online but we're still working on updating our inventory quantities so we'll do our best to meet your size order.

Rolling Awards Presentation

Our Rolling Awards were again a hit and they worked much better in a paved parking lot than in a muddy field. We weren't able to have our Winner's Circle Display due to space constraints but people were still able to line up for viewing the winning cars at our presentation area.

Awards Presented

Our Special Awards

  • Diamond In the Rough (best repair potential as selected by registered attendees)

  • Intrepid Traveler (based on distance traveled)

  • Driver's Choice (favorite of registered attendees)

  • Best Car In Show (favorite of all spectators and attendees)

  • Best Motorcycle (favorite of all spectators and attendees)

Best In Class Awards

Our "Best In Class" awards are voted for by registered attendees. "Best In Class" categories are organized by vehicle decade and country of manufacture. For example, we may present a "Best In Class" award for German vehicles built between 1951-1960.

Our current country categories are

  • England/British/UK

  • Germany

  • Italy

  • Other

Our current decade categories are divided into 10-20 year groupings, depending on the number of cars we expect to attend within a given group. For example, 1930-1950 is a category, as is 1971-1980.

Family Friendly with a
Kid's Tent

Our club members love encouraging our next generation of vehicle enthusiasts. We all need our little mechanics and helpers! And we love encouraging their interest!

Our Kid's Tent was again a hit this year with car-related activities specifically selected for kids of different ages, from coloring, painting and games to spinning a wheel for toys or other prizes. â€‹

NEW THIS YEAR
Paint a Car!
(with easy to wash off tempera paint)

One of our members generously offered his in-progress MGB as a painting canvas for our enjoyment. A number of kid-size aprons and a wash station were also provided to help with keeping paint from getting where it shouldn't be.

The Painted Car was a big hit, even though the rain washed some of the paint off half way through the show. This just meant there was more area to paint. Even the adults had a good time with the car painting.

THANK YOU to Our Volunteers!

Our event is organized and managed by volunteers, especially our club members and their families, but we still have substantial costs for hosting an event like this. We pay for advertising, printing, supplies, equipment, and many other things associated with the event. We also have necessary costs for administering our club, such as website hosting and management and other fees. To learn more about how we spend our funds, click here.
