We had great weather and a great turn-out for our May 16th Veterans Museum Cars and Coffee Event. Lots of people had a chance to tour the Veterans Museum, view vintage military vehicles, and meet some of our proud North Alabama Veterans. We even got to check out their Event Space though we didn't rent it for this event.
About the Museum
The Alabama Veteran's Museum and Archives is a proud and active supporter of veterans and their families from across Alabama the southeast US. They host a Coffee Call social breakfast on the first Saturday of every month, and are regularly involved in community activities in the Athens, AL, area. The museum also supports and maintains the nearby Alabama Veterans Park where multiple historical military vehicles are displayed. Come see the recently installed Blackhawk Helicopter and numerous displays of vintage military items.
